Entries for Spaces Magazine Beautiful Kitchen Contest

If you enjoy reading Spaces Magazine like I do, then you know they recently held the Spaces Beautiful Kitchen Contest. Judging by their gallery, it looked like they had about 28 entries for this years competition. I was pleased to see that Portfolio Kitchen & Home had 6 entries that I knew of which not only demonstrates their excellent craftsmanship & creativity when it comes to designing kitchens and cabinetry, but the respect that they have garnered for doing such excellent work. I see their work showing up in more and more places every day. Kudos to the whole team at Portfolio Kitchen & Home for all their creative perspectives, and hard work.

My Favorite Entry
After taking a look through all of the entries, my favorite entry was the Daniels Kitchen. I had the privilege of shooting this beautiful space back in April and, having a love for the French culture, really enjoyed the creative details that were put into this particular design. The cabinetry is superb and the detailing of the range and accompanying backsplash is truly remarkable when viewed up close. Below are a few other images from that shoot.

Biscuit Eight is using their fantastic photo talent to a good cause – putting a face to the families who are still struggling with being at war, by taking some great portraits for them to send to their missing loved ones overseas for Valentines Day.

I was excited when Jax asked me to be a part of this wonderful opportunity. We have family that are still serving overseas so this is something that I feel especially privileged to be a part of. In fact one of the goals I had this year for my business was to get more involved in helping others with the talent God has given me… this is a welcomed opportunity to do just that.

This will be  a two day shoot and I believe you should be able to view some of the event pictures at the B8 website sponsored by Livebooks as well as checking up on all the sponsors websites for this event. Maybe, I can share a few behind the scenes images from the weekend with all of you, but we’ll see how that goes. I will however, share my experience in a follow up post after the weekend, so check back to see how it all went.
