WHAT IS KANSAS CITY ARCHITECTURAL – Formerly Photomunchies

Driven by photos, images, and ideas with a unique perspective, the KC Architectural blog exists to feature architectural and interior photography that is new, fresh, and creative. Posts will consist of the following material:

1. Photography and conceptual imagery. This could be my work, or someone else’s work that I found inspiring and worth sharing with my fanbase. These posts will link back to the original poster or artist, or to my Jackson Visuals website if its my own post so you can see the work in context.

2. Inspiring and creative stories, news, and updates from the photographic community and creative fields.

3. Techniques, workflow tips, upcoming seminars and workshops that I offer or that someone I know is offering. This may be suited more for those who are really pursuing photography as a hobby or career, but it’s still fun to share because everyone has a little bit of photographer in them sometimes!

4. Blog posts, articles, videos, or anything else that shows the integration of art, culture, and technology and how that impacts the everyday world we live in. A good example of this is Nikon’s A Day in Your Life . Now personally Im a Canon shooter, and haven’t yet converted to the “dark side”, but this is pretty darn cool.

CREATE, SHARE, SUSTAIN

As one of my photo hero’s Chase Jarvis states it, Create, Share, Sustain is important in today’s overstimulated culture. Sure, we have all this technology and fancy gadgets, but what are we really doing with it all? If all the stuff we create remains on the computer, it’s not doing anybody any good. We need to get that out there for people to see, discuss, and most importantly… to enjoy!
